Friday 17/15/11
I got to take off work early today (first time in a long time) and we went down to Branson, for the afternoon. We started the day at the Ralph Foster Museum, I had not been there since grade school. It was interesting. They still had the Beverly Hillbillies car, the taxidermy animals, well except for the 2 headed calf. Funny what you remember from when you were a kid. The air conditioner was not working very well in there and it was hot. It really had not changed much since I was a kid Then went to Point Look Out, it was a awesome view, then went up to the Church there on Collage of Ozarks campus, it was truly beautiful. Then we decided to go to downtown Branson, and check out all the Flea Markets and Dick's five and dime. We stopped and had ice cream, my favorite thing in the world. Then down to the landing and walk around down there. At least it was a little cooler down on the lake. I lucked out and did not spend any money my husband was very happy about that. We decided to stop and eat at Shoney's on the way home, and that did not settle with my stomach at all. Now I'm sitting on the couch feeling like everything is going to come back up. I'm going to finish this, go take my medicine and go to bed. I have a big day planned for tomorrow. It's my first weekend off in 6 weeks. Mom is coming and picking me up and we are going to run errands, go get our hair cut (way past due for me) and then make our favorite pit stops, Cato's and Gordman's. Then home to fix dinner and figure out what our company wants to do for the night.
